在法網結束紅土賽事後，台灣網球一哥盧彥勳在荷蘭網球公開賽踏上今年首場草地賽事，但可惜首場命運不佳就遭遇死敵世界第32法國球員曼納里諾(A.Mannarino)，再度以0比2吞下敗戰止步，職業生涯連續三場都敗在曼納里諾的拍下。
雖然草地球場一直是盧彥勳的最愛，但今年首個草地賽的籤運不佳，單打首輪就遭遇世界第32、大會第6種子曼納里諾，盧彥勳在2014年法網和今年Delray海灘網賽兩度都敗在曼納里諾，但兩場分別在紅土、硬地對戰，這也是兩人首度在草地對決。
世界第62盧彥勳首輪對上世界第32曼納里諾，兩盤都如出一轍，盧彥勳都在先被破發下落後，雖然都曾成功破發，一度將比數拉近，但可惜都在末段又遭到破發，最終兩盤以4比6、3比6落敗，全場其實盧彥勳拿到比對手更多的6個破發點，但可惜只破了2局，反倒5個破發點中四度被破發，最終讓盧彥勳吞下敗戰。
